Scott D. Reeman
Business Development Executive, Strategy Professional & Experimental Test & Fighter Pilot
Scott served in the Royal Australia Air Force as a fighter pilot and experimental test pilot for 15 years and has been a strategy & business development leader for the past 20+ years.
After graduating as an experimental test pilot from the Empire Test Pilots’ School (UK), he finished his full time career in Defence as the senior fighter test pilot at the RAAF’s Aircraft Research & Development Unit and the architect of the Hawk Lead In Fighter Trainer system.
Scott’s experience in the highest echelons of aviation was pivotal to the development of his business skills.
Scott is a business leader with the ability to plan strategically and implement tactically; unique skills he brings from his RAAF Fast Jet career. He has established new operations, won major new business & delivered on in-service programs. His success is based on a foundation of a commitment to constant evaluation & improvement, developing new business strategies and delivering value.
Central to Scott’s success in 20+ years of international business in global markets is his capacity to forge lasting relationships across the customer and business community at all levels. This ability is based on his delivering on commitments, technical expertise, and being a valued element of the customer’s network.
Scott has multiple successful career paths including; business unit start-up leader, P&L holder, strategy & business development, capture management & major project delivery. Scott’s industry skills are under-pinned his successful RAAF and, prior to RAAF service, aeromedical and Aeromedical/Search & Rescue pilot. Scott currently serves as the VP for the Society of Experimental Test Pilots (SETP) in Australia.
Scott enjoys sailing, guitar, country sports and fishing in the highlands of Tasmania & has a weakness for Alfa Romeos.
